Peter started his career with the District Valuer's Office embarking on their trainee surveyor scheme, whilst simultaneously studying for a Diploma in Surveying from the College of Estate Management , Reading.
After qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 1996, he left the District Valuer's Office in 1998 to join Aitchison Raffety, firstly based in Hemel Hempstead, before moving to the Northampton office. Leaving Aitchison Raffety in early 2000 to work for another firm of surveyors, he then rejoined in summer 2002, returning to the Hemel Hempstead branch.
Following promotion to Associate Director, together with the continued expansion of the Aitchison Raffety Group, Peter became a founding member of the Milton Keynes office in 2004. The office has rapidly expanded, with three times the original number of fee earners now being based in Milton Keynes . This success contributed to Peter's promotion to Director in 2007 and the simultaneous relocation of the Milton Keynes team to larger premises.

This includes the valuation of existing health centres and surgeries, development appraisals for new schemes, and providing professional advice to both landlords and tenants in rent review and lease renewal negotiations. He has advised a broad spectrum of clients from private individuals to large corporate investors, together with the leading providers of finance in this sector.
Peter's working knowledge extends across a large area of the UK but with particular emphasis on the Beds, Bucks, Herts and the East Midlands regions. |
