As a developer you will no doubt run your own development appraisals but when undertaking primary healthcare premises projects, you will be asked by the District Valuer to supply copies, together with other details of costs. The District Valuer then puts this detail into his own appraisal to decide on the level of rent and to whether the project is “value for money” to the NHS.
We suggest that it is first prudent to supply Aitchison Raffety with such detail so that the information can be put into an appraisal similar to that utilised by the District Valuer, checked with you first and then passed to the DV with a full package of the other relevant information. Our intention is to ease the matter through the process and ensuring that the correct rental is agreed.
